125 masters debut

Post by Scott Boone » Tue Feb 12, 2008 8:27 am

I want to thank my sponsors who made my 125 cc Master Shifter victory possible. Specifically Judi Ilavia and Jill Pauly who both supplied me with free tylenol throughout the day.

I also want to thank the entire field who were so gracious to only lap me once during the prefinal. By the way, is my 44.45 second lap time the track record?

Good job Scott, you know it's all about being out there having fun. If it helps any I think Garrett and Cody lapped me too.

Your performance brought me to tears it was so inspirational. Suddenly, the flopped over 50 year olds have a recognizable face who will serve as an icon of their kind. You are like Rocky man, except I think Rocky won most of his fights.

Y'all are brutal! You're treating Scott like he's a geriatric. Scott, no sweat about the Tylonel and I've taken your advice about keeping Aspirin in my first aid kit in the event of someone having a heart attack. :?

A big atta boy for scott jumping in the seat of a shifter. I get annoyed with dads that dont or havent raced and then scold there kids for thier driving.

it aint easy to drive a kart and especially in a shifter.

Props to Scott for being the current master shifter lap time record holder!

Shifters

Post by Scott Boone » Sun Feb 17, 2008 6:14 pm

Brian,
Welcome to Houston and we look forward to seeing you at GCKI. The 80s are alive and well and there are still a lot of 80s in peoples garages that need to come race. All flavors of shifters are welcome.
