Is the IR beacon across from the pits working?

Hi guys,

Last few times I've come out to practice the beacon doesn't seem to be working. I have looked at it and tried to turn it on but have had no success. On race days, it does work.

Am I missing something or is the beacon across from the pits broken?

The beacon should be working now. It was moved to the start finish line with batteries for the race, and just now moved. It is plugged into the solar charged battery. It still needs to be turned on (back of beacon) when out at the track. Please turn off when done.

Upon further investigation I found that the beacon which was turned on and being used was the 20ft beacon. After unplugging it and switching it over to the 60 ft beacon next to it it worked much better.
