couldn't find it on the website. what kind of timing system does the GCKI track have? magnetic strip, or mychron beacon?

For racing we use the magnetic strip. If you are shopping for a transponder, we use the MYLAPS AMB system.
For personal use, there is an IR beacon as well if you want to use your Mychron but it's not set up at the start finish line, it is right across from the hot-pit.
For personal use, I would recommend to use a Mychron with GPS.

Thanks Jean. I have an Alfano with a magnetic sensor. This is all I should need for personal use, i.e. when I am there practicing on a weekday?
