Need advice

Post by Chris Willis » Fri Jan 17, 2014 10:52 am

Hi guys... We were out to the winter blast but it was so dang cold and everyone was so busy, we didnt get a chance to spend alot of time talking. My 9 year old is interested in getting started. My problem is that I dont know enough about the various classes, series, cart types, etc.... Is there a member who I can call and spen about ten minutes with? I would like to get started before Feb....
Thank you

Hi Chris,
welcome to the club. There are a lot of kids in that age range in our club, and I am certain that most of their parents will be happy to speak to you. I would recommend that you reach out to John Bartos (his email and phone # should be in the list of club officer's on the main GCKI website, as he has been a long standing racing dad for many years, and know all the rules inside and out.

Cheers!
JM

Sure - I've been out at that track for 15 years. Started at age 10 and moved through all the classes, so I may be able to help. Give me a shout if you have any questions.
