Those who attended, worked incredibly hard all day. Our volunteer help included: (please note some of these folks worked all week)
1. Doug Lee
2. Roy Milner
3. Cole Calland
4. Carter Calland
5. Bill Choice
6. Paul Jones
7. Jim Garvin
8. Joe Bauhs
9. Randy Selchert
10. Trey Kendrick
11. Michael Jones
The day started at 9:30 with Cole, Carter, Roy, Trey and Randy taking on track weed removal and mowing. Roy spent several hours walking and weedeating the inside edge of the track, but had to gracefully retire in the early afternoon with pain in his artificial hip. The track weeding and mowing took a large part of the day for these volunteers. Doug added a special touch to the gates by painting the GCKI Logo. Check it out, it looks great. Bill and Randy installed the barrier post at the electrical panel. Bill, Randy and Joe installed the 4 flag poles. Paul, Jim, Joe, Bill, Trey and Doug all worked the fence detail. Jan walked everywhere picking up trash.
Of our goals, what was completed:
1. The track looks fantastic. Grass and weed projects were completed, and this along with the new barrier system, curb painting and tire removal makes for an awesome facility.
2. The barrier pole at the electrical box was installed and painted. It is finished.
3. All 4 flag poles were installed
4. 250ft of fence installed, 65ft remains to be completed
5. A temporary tire barrier was installed at the new flag stand
6. The 3 trees had to be left. We will add their removal to a future work day
The club offers a big thank you to all who participated in this week's work days:

5. Cade McKee

18. Joel Yeltin
19. Trey Kendrick
20. Mark Reid

Re: Saturday-Track Work Days
Bryan thanks to you and Jan for all of your leadership and hard work this week. The transformation of the facility after this 2011 work session is simply outstanding. I am overjoyed to see how many dedicated club members came out to pitch in.

Re: Saturday-Track Work Days
Ditto on John's comments. Thank you Bryan & Jan for the daily organization and direction, which made it easy for us to contribute to the work effort when we showed up. We couldn't be at Utah this week so where better to spend our time than at the GCKI track...
See everyone on the 31st.
