Re: S3 class rule clarification requested
I would think given your experience in the TAG you could go into S4 without issue. I don't recall a concrete resolution to the issue at the meeting other than race/competition director input.

Re: Trying To Build the Herd!
http://www.rpmracekarts.com should get you too RPM. Yes, all classes have a tire rule, no open tires. Next years schedule will be decided at the all member meeting in early January. It's pretty safe to look at this years and get an idea of the frequency, it doesn't change much unless we have to avo...

Re: Trying To Build the Herd!
Mark, Welcome to Houston, and back to Karting hopefully. We always love to add members. Best info on which classes have the numbers would be to read over the points sheet, link can be found on the homepage. It will show how many were were at each race over the season. Not sure about member numbers, ...

old helmet
Looking for an old helmet, not sure of a size though, fun right? Not planning to race just yet, want to see if my daughter can drive or use the kart to get some seat time. She is 13, normal size kid, I'm thinking maybe an adult small might work. Let me know if you have something really cheap or will...

Re: MyLaps
I think there might be a problem with mylaps, I only see 3 events from the 28th which is unusual. I've asked Marcia about it so I could update the points and she was going to check with Michael.

Re: Ed Kruger
Very sad to read this news. I haven't seen Ed or Blake for a while now, maybe the IKF Grands last year? Since there hasn't been any road racing going on. Having just lost my mom at my age, my heart goes out to the family and kids. Godspeed Ed. Brad

Re: Stock Moto Turnouts...
Troy, During the summer months our turnout has dropped off some, maybe 7-8 but we've been as high as 14 total. This is with Jr., Sr., and Masters all on track together. I personally have thought about visiting NOLA but just haven't really taken the time to plan the drive etc. I thought I'd have bett...

Re: New kart, basic questions.... (bumper/air filter)
Of course two track sponsors come to mind, 3G Karting or Fastech Racing for the bumper. The angle filter is more a fit thing, there is no spec on one. There are brackets out there, or you can fab one, or go without. I've run without one for a long time, but I don't have a huge filter. Air box is onl...

Re: Points updates
Points are updated as of Spring 8, as has become normal they will be open for review for a short time and then become official. If you see something I need to check please let me know and I'll get you an answer. As a reminder, you had to participate in at least 5 events to be eligible for series awa...

Re: Vintage Carting
Jason, We don't have any vintage specific events, and typically practice is open only to club members. There is some open practice time on the mornings of race days but you will have other karts there to share the time with. Unless you are a member there isn't really a time to get on track by yourse...

Bodywork question....
I have a road racer contact that would like to attend the 6/17 race at Katy. He knows he will be in a class of his own, modified 80cc shifter, masters age. He asked if it would be a problem that the kart has a "road race" fairing mounted. I told him I didn't believe it would be as he would be by him...

Re: Texas Prokart Challenge, rounds 3 and 4
First congrats to Bill, Becky, Dave, Scott, Paul, The Bartos', and anyone else involved in getting GS organized and completed. Tough to do if it isn't your full time job already, I wouldn't know how to do it all! Second, for those that had concerns over a built in chicane take a look at this video f...

Re: time to register
Since I seem to have lost part of my mind that holds memory, do we need to order fuel and oil when we register? Seem to remember that was the rule just want to be sure.
