The ones I've seen are always attatched on the outside of the computer. On the side of the "body" of the computer there is a tab with two little holes where the wire goes in and back through the other hole and that keeps the wire "hooked" to the computer. It normally is a black wire with a clip on o...

Paul, what is the cost of running in one event? To me it sounds like qualifying....don't like it. I understand the concept of "solo"...you against the track. But I rather go against the track and other drivers. It becomes you against the track that keeps changing because there are variable obstacles...

Paul, Effective 9-20-07 TAG USA: If you have a ROTAX engine and are 35+ years young (which you qualify) you can run the TAG Masters at 390 lbs minimum. You also qualify to run the TAG Sr class at 360 lbs. Your other options (2007 ROTAX rules) are to run in the ROTAX Class in Rotax Masters at 405 lbs...

Leopard, Sonic and others (except Rotax) are not sealed motors. You can repair them yourself if you want/need to. You can't modify them. I agree that the stroker motors have more grunt and that sooner than later, two cycle motors are going to be out by epa orders. I think the only thing against a st...

IMO that the contractor that did the job has the instructions on what to do. Just follow what they say. You got to follow their recomendation for them to back up their product/work. It's been a long time comming for the ones like me who have been karting for a while. So it doesn't make a big differe...

Availability and "know how". If you are new to karting or tag class....what motor do current drivers know?? what package do local shops carry parts for?? Can you afford the "learning curve" of a package no one around you knows? It's risky and sometimes dissapointing. But if you're willing to put the...

Neil, a non shifter kart is said to be a better starting ride since you have less things going on while you drive. The sure thing you'll need is "seat time". I recomend you look into the classes run at the club level and have those be your options. Join the club and go to the track as often as you c...

New Track, New Lap Times
Congrats to Greg Dundas, he set the pace in the TAG class for lap times: 45.580 is the track record. He is a fast driver, so it's good to know how fast we all have to try to drive.
It takes a lot of skill to setup/drive like Greg. Kudos.[/b]

:shock:what a long strait!! AWESOME :!: [quote]I know Mr. Boone has been out there this evening covering the remaining exposed base with some plastic to protect it from any rain tonight. How can the club "pay back" people like Scott, the Dundas and everyone involved in the realization of this projec...

Start / Finish Line
The new track has a turn right about where the start/finish line used to be.
Where is the new start/finish going to be on the new layout?

Hey, it’s nobody’s fault. Nature cannot be controlled. This is a project that in a perfect world would not take so much time, but the weather has been far from perfect for this task. If you want it done right, then we have to wait! :( For all of us who have been racing at Katy for many years, it’s a...

SWRC @ GCKI Race Weekend
The weather has not been helping at all in the Track Expansion project. We all know it's for the benefit of all members and many were waiting for this to happen to become part of GCKI. Kudos to all involved. My question is concerning the SWRC race. It's comming pretty quick. Two weeks from today, ev...
