Re: Chonda Class
......This class will have more cheating than any other.....But I'm still in. Thats when you make the rule of being able to trade motors. Last weekend at TWS in the shifter 125 stock class we all had our ignition box taken away and put into a shuffle box before the first race. Then they shuffled th...

Re: Stock 125 invades Houston..
Brad, you calling me old?? 8) I remember back in early 90s I did a double race weekend!! And yeah, I too hope to race with ya sometime soon. We gotta get them PTKs rubbing pods. Earlier this year I had plans on making more races at Katy but the darn economy is getting in my way. I’m still gonna try ...

Re: Stock 125 invades Houston..
It would be nice if we could all race in one track one day and then go and race at the other the next day.
Glad to hear you guys are comming down to do some practice & racing.

Ken, I think Oscar has covered all the maintenance. You are questioning if you should start racing, but you are the one that should be deciding. Fact is you will not get any race experience if you don't...race. Glad you've done 50 laps...but in 4 practice days? and I'm not trying to be sarcastic. I ...

Bryan, in racing, one of the most "grayish areas" for me is the "Diving a Turn" move. The driver attempting the pass always claims that they had the turn, which most of the time they would of overshot if the kart in front wouldn't of been there. To dive in a turn, most of the time means you brake la...

Bryan, I was not there, so without you giving more info on the incident, it's hard to give an opinion. But it is always said: the driver making the pass is responsible for doing it safely. Of course, the one being passed should keep their line. When I catch up with another driver, I expect them to k...

Shawn, Brad had this comment: I tried to race at the first race but had a broken reed so the motor wasn't running right. I had a 15/28 but probably needed a change maybe to 15/27. I run a stock Honda but I'm a heavier guy, crossing the scales at about 420, if you're close to 385 it might be differen...

You provided data that didn't include the SWRC race at Katy which was a two day event in between two club races. And, you included the weekend with the conflict with MSR. Let me remind you that Katy had 80+ karts entered on both days (Sat & Sun) of the SWRC race which was between two club races. Ji...

But i would love to see a houston local series were races are held at all three tracks but everyone can have a "home track" because i know the member cost for all 3 tracks would be very expensive. It would be awesome to see a all in one cost for all three venues but i dont know if that would be pos...

You are correct Eddie. 46 drivers wanting to race and had to be split. 40% showed at GCKI and 60% at MSR. And the attendance at MSR was all local + 2 from out of town drivers I believe. Not to attractive for anyone looking into joining the sport. I did the MSR race because I like the facility and it...
