Rafe,
first time logging on in a while. We updated the rules for 2021, and the document got scrambled a little converting to PDF.
reload browser and try again. I think you'll find the updated rules are much cleaner than previous versions.
you know where to find me if you still have questions.

Re: Help requested for some maiden kid kart laps
HI Niels, Welcome! At GCKI, he can actually start racing now. As long as he turns 5 before the end of this year, he is OK. Now.. is he mentally and physically ready? all kids are different there! That said, I'm happy to let him try my son's kart for a few laps and see if his blood pumps faster. usua...

Re: New lo206 driver weight
Keven,
I'm usually at all GCKI races with the kids (I have a kid kart and cadet), and I keep at least 40lb of lead in the trailer. happy to lend it out to help out, just please return it when you're done since that crap is expensive!

Re: Newbie to kid karting
Hi all, there is usually someone at the track with MS93 available for sale. If you show up for race day and don't have any, it doesn't take much to run a kid kart for a day, so I'm happy to help out with a gallon or so. Regarding places locally, you can buy it at JBM (Joe Bauhs Motorsports), Speedsp...

He often doesn't answer directly (since busy man sometimes playing at a noisy race track), but leave a voicemail or text and he will usually get back to you when he's available.

Re: Questions Regarding Practice Days at the Track
Hi Ken, sorry if my point wasn't that clear. when we have kid karts on track, there are cones at the ends of the garage that we use to block track entrance and let other karters know the course is 'closed' while the kids are out there. It should be a pretty obvious barrier, but a few people (who sha...

Re: Questions Regarding Practice Days at the Track
Hi Ryan, welcome. To address the kid kart stuff a little better, when there are others at the track, Kid kart should always run separately from anyone else. new kids in cadets that are kid kart speed would be an exception. otherwise, the instant you have two "big kids" on track with a kid kart, it t...

Re: Need help identifying brake caliper..
I think I've learned that this guy is a knockoff to the Brembo F05 caliper, and several places sell seal kits for it. Pistons are 32mm, and it seems that 'generic' square o-ring seals don't come in 32mm. I've ordered a Brembo rebuild kit and will see what's in the box when it shows up. hopefully it'...
