WTB kid suit and helmet
Looking for small youth helmet (52-53cm) and the smallest karting suit. 7xs in K1 sizing. Small neck brace also. I'll look at pieces or a whole kit, already have the Armadillo.

Rule change, spec fuel?
While we’re having Silly Season in here, I’d like to throw out a suggestion for a change of fuel. After entry fees and tires, fuel is the next big expense. The Briggs rules specify pump gas for the LO206. No adjustments are permitted that would garner a performance benefit from using race fuel so th...

Re: Proposal to add World Formula to club racing
I didn't mind having WFs running with us. I think it would probably be beneficial to that class to keep them together at the front of the 206 group instead of starting from the back, though. Getting a flyby on the second or third lap was a bit of a surprise a few times, but I don't recall any bad ou...

Re: Concept; Build a Tag Masters Light class for 2017!
If the start is a primary concern, are staggered starts a viable option for T1 carnage abatement? I will echo Patrick's sentiment that adding another hour to the race day is not desirable for most of the racers.
I'm not a TaG driver so no input for weight breaks, etc.

Axle straightening services?
I've heard there's a shop around Tomball that can straighten axles and steering columns. Does anyone have the name or contact info for those guys or another recommendation?

Re: Getting Started in Kid Kart
With the caveat that I've had a kid kart for all of 3 months, here's what I'm doing, and my kid can't stop talking about how much she loves her go kart. My 4 year old has been hooning Power Wheels for a good while before we got the kart; that helps with the overall driving, but obviously it doesn't ...

Re: Driving suit
I'm not a voice of authority, but I've seen a few guys wearing those. I assume you've got some manner of SFI fire suit. Mine is a one piece SFI 3.2A/1 and it was approved. Caveats being: 1. they're kinda warm. 2. it'll get greasy and oily which is generally not good if it will be needed for fire pro...

Re: Newbie looking for advice
LOL Patrick, that kart is still quick. Just needs a driver to get it around the track properly. God knows I couldn't do it. Great, there goes my best excuse! Hey Jared, why don't you enter the race and me and you can duke it out in the back of the pack :D Well hell. I'll see what I can do, bunch of...

Re: Newbie looking for advice
Thanks for that. I'm probably not doing much car racing in the foreseeable future and its a cheap Lemons suit anyway, but it sure is toasty. Summer will probably drive me to something kart specific. I got the CRG. Almost went with a roller and new engine build, but I figure I'd be better off startin...

Re: Newbie looking for advice
I won't be racing this weekend, but I'll be another noob in the spring. Getting the kart (Ted D's 206) tech'd this weekend and trying to feel out the raceday process a little bit. Back too noob help: for the suit, is an SFI 3.2 firesuit and shoes acceptable attire? Those gloves are fairly useless bu...
