Re: New on the forum
Hey guys new to the forum! Always loved car driving, auto-x, and drag racing. Well I have a family now 6 months old baby Eli. Wife says I need a much safer driving sport. I have been going to K1 on 290, and houston karting complex in conroe. Anyone from the conroe/ woodlands area? I am fa...

I understand. Appreciate the details. Good sound practices that should be recognized and not ignored.

Re: Questions Regarding Practice Days at the Track
A Late Welcome to RVW. Hope you're enjoying the membership. Matt: I've experienced those practice days. Things can naturally take that turn from just getting in laps to let's play hard. Not agreeing with it when it happens as you describe your experience. Neat to hear you're finding time to coach an...

Re: Racing career destroyed
Thanks for sharing the link Jean Michel. Otherwise I would've missed this story. I did see the replay of the contact earlier. Thought it was less than severe but only caught a glimpse of the segment. Certainly not the example to learn from.

Re: Why is everyone leaving katy ?
I wrote a beautifully transcribed message earlier and probably shifted down when i should've shifted up. Anyway, in an effort to relay the message I had in mind, I'll be brief. Thanks for the true and concise points you made Paul. I'm in agreement that the Club is healthy as far as membership and th...

Re: Concept; Build a Tag Masters Light class for 2017!
Always good to hear your thoughts JMG. Maybe a bounty ($$$) on say, catch and pass the slowest Master, that would be me, would entice a TaG owner. No No No that's not the direction we're going! Maybe a loser buys first round deal? Seriously though, if Paul is going to run Master we may be headed in ...

Re: Concept; Build a Tag Masters Light class for 2017!
That was some meeting we had last night. I still consider myself a new club member as I'm learning the names and all players involved. Continuing the open discussion on our "heavy" class I think is good. We settled on the weight minimum last night but since the concern is growth we should still find...

Re: Concept; Build a Tag Masters Light class for 2017!
Thanks for the input Jean Michel. I think we're going in a good direction per the conversation. Being classified as TaG Master and being on the high side of 405 I'm all ears (except for all my ballast elsewhere) and all in for growing the class count. Paul and/or David...Growing the class is the goa...

Re: Concept; Build a Tag Masters Light class for 2017!
Appreciate what little conversation this has generated. Thanks to those that have piped in on the topic. Didn't generate much interest at the Forum level but experience has been that not many do monitor or utilize this for discussion, at least not much. David wouldn't have posted if the interest was...

Re: Concept; Build a Tag Masters Light class for 2017!
What is the goal of a Masters Light Class? I didn't make many events this year but I do fall into the TaG Master by age (over 30 by a bunch) and weight (over 405 at the scale without any help). My lap times are well off the TaG Senior by at least 6 or more seconds. I'm lap traffic. Before saying mor...

Re: Exhaust Leaking Oil? Need some help!
Should I check/replace the spark plug? Hey Nick, The oil drip is common as Patrick described. Certainly pull the plug and have a look. Depending on age and amount of use this can be the easiest indicator of lean/rich conditions. Preferred appearance on the electrode and insulator would be brown [li...
