Re: Greyhound 6.5 - Who sells them?
Briggs LO206 will pretty well bolt on in place. Same motor mount and you can use the same clutch and chain guard. The motor comes with the fuel pump. I believe you still need to purchase the air filter. The LO206 is a sealed spec motor which makes the racing very competitive and lets the driver conc...

Re: Newbie looking for advice
I'm glad to hear you are taking the plunge to race! The only specific requirement for a novice is to put the "X" on the back of your helmet (or rear number plate) as I mention in one of the earlier posts. For what it's worth, I drove that exact kart (it's a long story but it used to be mine a few y...

Re: Newbie looking for advice
I cant really say, I have never had anything smaller than a 6x12 enclosed trailer. I would recommend a google search for karting trailer ideas. There are some pretty well thought out iout there.

Re: Newbie looking for advice
you will be hard pressed for space for two karts and all your gear in a 5x10. It may fit but you will need a stacker kart stand and probably at least a 6' inside clearance. If you go open utility trailer, you will still need to stack your karts for transport on the small of a trailer.

Re: Newbie looking for advice
LO206 is great for a beginner. Its economical and not to bad on the body. GCKI has a good field of 206 racers and I believe HCKC is picking up momentum. If you keep the oil changes and the air filter clean, you should get 3 full seasons out of the motor. I hear some guys lap the valves once a year b...
