Re: Colin Walker
Scott you are exactly right, Colin was a very generous person. I had the pleasure of racing with him in the mid 90's when Senior Yamaha was the big class. We would always pit next to Colin back when we had three pit awnings. Colin would help with advice, parts, tools, and anything else he had in ord...

Re: Kyle Books wins HMP 360 Nascar Truck Race
Kyle wins again at HMP in the Whelen Nascar Truck class! Saturday Kyle won his second 50 lap feature race at Houston Motorsports Park and posted fasted lap on top of that. That makes (2) 1st's and (2) 2nd place finishes with four dnf's due to mechanical issues. Currently Kyle sits in 11th place in p...

Re: Paging Jim Garvin and Kyle Books....
Brad,
Yes, I realized later I had checked the wrong box, Kyle should have been S3 Stock Honda> Also is it correct that Kyle gets a DNF even though he finished 10 laps on the main? Thanks for pointing out the class problem. Thanks.

Kyle Books wins HMP 360 Nascar Truck Race
I know we don't have too many oval racing fans, but Kyle has been doing some oval racing at Houston Motorsports Park here lately. This last weekend he had a chance to race a 360 Nascar Whelen Truck in the HMP's Speedfest weekend. With close to 30 drivers registered from all over the state and good p...

Re: Getting into Shifter Kart Racing
Ro, My son races 125 shifter out at Katy and would glad to help you guys out. The only drawback is our kart has a fairly small seat, don't know what sizes you guys are but if that's not an issue we could definately offer some seat time. Otherwise if you just wanted to meet and talk and go over any q...

Hey Teddy,
We did leave, the EMS highly suggested for us to get it checked out, thought my finger might be broke. I had it checked out and everything is good. Thanks for asking.

Lost Kart Stand on Sunday
A kart stand was left behind at the track on Sunday May 30. I believe I know who's it was but don't know how to get a hold of them. If you see this please give me an email to identify.

Re: Pit work..... track availability
Since we are in the middle of some major track improvements I thought I would make two suggestions that might could happen while we are doing this work. 1.The west end of the property where we have a large dip and drainage area, is it possible to fill some of this in and narrow the drainage area to ...
