Vintage karting

While I'm on the subject of "retired" I would like to invite all the "old" karting crowd who have a machine rusting away in their garage to dust it off and get it ready for the British Vintage Kart Tour next year. My old buddies from the Shennington Kart Club are planning to tour the USA in 2008 with the British Vintage Kart Club and we have invited them to visit us. I hope that Katy will find time at one of their race meetings to allow these guys to run their machines in a "demonstration" of how we raced in the 60's and 70's. I think it will be an eye opener for the youngsters in our sport.
If you have an old kart or engine needing attention call us. We have lots of "stuff" in our 25 year collection and would be happy to help you.
Also go to the Vintage Kart Club web site and REAR [rear engine American racers] to see what's happening in this revived arm of our sport. You will be surprised how popular Vintage "racing" has become.
See you at the races.
Colin
