MS98 Race Fuel

Where is the best place to get this fuel?

How much additional ignition timing advance over 87 octane pump gas?

RPM motorsports sells this fuel along with a few other companies in town that will match RPMs pricing. The amount of timing to add is hard to say. I added a ton of timing last year for LSGP with this fuel. I was running 36 deg and the head temps were still in the right range, but I can't say for sure that this is the optimum timing to run. It will also depend on which cam shaft you are running. I've called around to most of the chonda engine builders and have not come up with any really good info about timing with higher octane gas. So I would say it will require some testing to figure out. I might play with the timing this weekend while setting my chonda up for the 2015 LSGP and if I come up with any good info I'll let you know.

Thanks Robert.

I'm new to Chonda so trying to get the kart setup for the new 2015 rules. What day are you going to be out there testing? I'll come down and run with you.
