We run a full width metal rear bumper on our micro max and I'm limited on how far I can pull in the rear wheels without the bumper over hanging the wheels (which I think is illegal). I could switch out the metal bumper for a plastic one, which has width adjustment, but I'm old school and prefer metal over plastic. So my question is: can I cut and weld the bumper 1.5" narrower and still be legal (i.e. is there a minimum length for a micro max rear bumper)?
Thanks,
James

Re: Rear bumper width
James - you are correct that the bumper may not extend beyond the rear tires. Full coverage is defined as covering at least one half of the rear tires under any condition.
Talk to me on Saturday before getting out the hot wrench, however.
