I came across these on the internet and didn't know if its something that would pass inspection or not. Thought it was a neat idea.

I have not seen these type fasteners yet. Most karts have special bolts with grooves machined on the stem of the bolt to accomodate a c clip type fastener ie: kingpin bolts, caliper bolts. On weights, double nutting is allowed at GCKI unless you are running under RMAX Challege rules, the bolts must be drilled and safety wired. Taking the extra time to drill bolts is time well spent.

Little but like the washer that holds the clutch basket nut in a CR125. Tighten the nut and bend up one of the tabs to hold it in place.
