Small Single Kart Trailer

I built this trailer to haul a Rotax around Houston. The base kit was from Northern Tool and then I added a tube steel structure with aluminum skin for the walls/roof/flooring. It was built back in 2005 and I only raced the 2006 season and sold out in early ’07. It has been used a few times there after to haul wood, mulch, and other assorted odd jobs.

The trailer will fit karts with a max rear wheel width of 55in, along with plenty of space for stand, tools, gear, etc. It is very lightweight; I towed the trailer including kart and all gear with a Ford Focus.

The trailer easily fits into a standard subdivision home garage. Also, the trailer width will fit through a double gate in your fence for easy entry into your backyard. (If you need help planning an easy double gate mod for your fence let me know and I can help you there too)
