GCKI Drivers dominate at Houston Motorsports Park

This past saturday 3 GCKI drivers took to the high banks of Houston Motorsports Park in East Houston. Houston Motorsports Park is a 3/8 mile oval with speeds averaging over 80 mph in most classes.

The first class on track was the Naskart Pro Racing Series with Two GCKI drivers on board. Tag Masters driver Brian Benedict and Briggs 206 Heavy Driver Austin Hunter Both had solid efforts, But Brian was second to none. Brian Qualified on Pole, Won the Heat, and Won the feature! Austin Qualified 7th, Heat 7th and finished 5th by a nose. This race also featured two drivers from the Oklahoma based show Street Outlaws with Birdman and Plan B both having issues.

The Screaming Goat Racing team of Warwas and Mckee had driver Brett Mitchell on rails as he did what ever he wanted with a Pole run. Brett dominated the heat race and the feature as he lead them wire to wire. Brett overcame several restarts to take the victory.
